Anti-rollback devices, catch devices, catch units, safety catches, and fall arresters ensure the safe and rapid stopping of the rolled-up door curtain. They are also necessary to meet safety requirements. In the event of a malfunction that causes the door curtain to roll down too quickly, the anti-rollback device electrically shuts down the door system and mechanically stops the steel shaft onto which the door curtain is wound.
