Weep vents & perpend vents for masonry
Joint vents and perp-end vents enable the ventilation of double-leaf masonry. They are used in open perp-ends of the exterior facade and ensure a defined ventilation area between the masonry shells. In double-leaf masonry, open perp-ends can be provided for the rear ventilation of the construction. Joint vents are inserted into these openings without completely closing off the necessary ventilation option. This creates a clean finish for the open joint while maintaining the intended ventilation.
In addition to ventilation, joint vents can help protect open perp-ends from the ingress of insects and small animals. The special lamella construction of the joint vents allows for air exchange while simultaneously protecting the open joint.
