The mechanical strap winder, also called a surface-mounted winder, is a roller shutter accessory used to manually wind the strap of a roller shutter. During installation, the strap winder is mounted on the surface of the wall (surface-mounted) or flush with the wall (flush-mounted) and connected to the strap pulley inside the roller shutter box.
