8.4 Use of payment service providers

- Apple Pay

If you choose "Apple Pay" as your payment method from Apple Distribution International (Apple), Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland, payment will be processed via the "Apple Pay" function of your iOS, watchOS or macOS device by charging a payment card stored with "Apple Pay". Apple Pay uses security features integrated into your device's hardware and software to protect your transactions. To authorise a payment, you must enter a code previously set by you and verify it using the "Face ID" or "Touch ID" function of your device.

For the purpose of payment processing, the information provided by you during the ordering process, together with information about your order, will be transmitted to Apple in encrypted form. Apple will then re-encrypt this data with a developer-specific key before the data is transmitted to the payment service provider of the payment card stored in Apple Pay for the purpose of payment. The encryption ensures that only the website through which the purchase was made can access the payment data. After the payment has been made, Apple sends your device account number and a transaction-specific, dynamic security code to the originating website to confirm the success of the payment.

If personal data is processed during the described transmissions, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Apple stores anonymised transaction data, including the approximate purchase amount, the approximate date and time, and whether the transaction was successfully completed. Anonymisation completely excludes any personal reference. Apple uses the anonymised data to improve "Apple Pay" and other Apple products and services.

If you use Apple Pay on your iPhone or Apple Watch to complete a purchase you made via Safari on your Mac, your Mac and authorisation device communicate over an encrypted channel on Apple's servers. Apple does not process or store any of this information in a format that could identify you personally. You can disable the ability to use Apple Pay on your Mac in your iPhone settings. Go to "Wallet & Apple Pay" and disable "Allow Payments on Mac".

Further information on data protection at Apple Pay can be found at the following Internet address: https://support.apple.com/de-de/HT203027

For payment processing purposes, your information provided during the ordering process, along with information about your order, will be shared with Google. Google will then transmit your payment information stored in Google Pay, in the form of a one-time transaction number, to the originating website to verify that payment has been made. This transaction number contains no information about the actual payment data of your payment methods stored with Google Pay, but is created and transmitted as a one-time valid numerical token. For all transactions via Google Pay, Google acts solely as an intermediary for processing the payment. The transaction is carried out exclusively between the user and the originating website by debiting the payment method stored with Google Pay.

If personal data is processed during the transfers described, the processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of payment processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

Google reserves the right to collect, store, and analyze certain transaction-specific information for every transaction made via Google Pay. 10) Retargeting/Remarketing and Conversion Tracking

10.1 Meta Pixel with Advanced Matching

Within our online offering, we use the "Meta Pixel" service from the following provider in advanced matching mode: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Meta")

If a user clicks on an advertisement placed by us on Facebook or Instagram, the URL of our linked page is extended by a parameter using "Meta Pixel". This URL parameter is then entered into the user's browser after redirection by a cookie that our linked page itself sets. In addition, this cookie collects specific customer data such as the email address that we collect on our website linked to the Facebook or Instagram advertisement during processes such as purchases, account logins, or registrations (advanced matching). The cookie is then read and enables the transmission of data, including specific customer data, to Meta.

We use "Meta Pixel" with advanced matching to make our advertisements (so-called "Ads") on Facebook and/or Instagram more effective and to ensure that they correspond to the interests of users or have certain characteristics (e.g., interests in certain topics or products, which are determined based on the visited websites) that we transmit to Meta (so-called "Custom Audiences").

Furthermore, we analyze the effectiveness of our advertisements by tracking whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on an advertisement (conversion). Compared to the standard version of "Meta Pixel", the advanced matching function helps us to better measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns by capturing more attributed conversions.

All transmitted data is stored and processed by Meta, so that an assignment to the respective user profile is possible and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Meta's data usage policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). The data can enable Meta and its partners to display ads on and off Facebook.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your given consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of our site visitors' data and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

The information generated by Meta is generally transmitted to a Meta server and stored there; in this context, a transmission to Meta Platforms Inc. servers in the USA may also occur.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

10.2 Google Ads Remarketing

This website uses retargeting technology from the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland

For this purpose, Google sets a cookie in your device's browser, which automatically enables interest-based advertising using a pseudonymous cookie ID and based on the pages you visit. Further data processing only takes place if you have agreed with Google that your internet and app browser history will be linked to your Google account and information from your Google account will be used to personalize ads you see on the web. If you are logged in to Google during your visit to our website in this case, Google uses your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing. For this purpose, your personal data is temporarily linked by Google with Google Analytics data to form target groups. Within the scope of using Google Ads Remarketing, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Without this consent, the use of retargeting technology during your site visit will not take place.

You can revoke your given consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, please deactivate this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

10.3 Microsoft Advertising

This website uses retargeting technology from the following provider: Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA

This enables us to specifically target visitors to our website with personalized, interest-based advertising who have already shown interest in our shop and our products. The display of advertising material is based on a cookie-based analysis of past and current user behavior.

In cases of retargeting technology, a cookie is stored on your computer or mobile device to collect pseudonymized data about your interests and thus adapt the advertising individually to the stored information. These cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device. You will then be shown advertising that is highly likely to match your product and information interests.

This enables us to specifically target visitors to our website with personalized, interest-based advertising who have already shown interest in our shop and our products. The display of advertising material is based on a cookie-based analysis of past and current user behavior.

In the case of retargeting technology, a cookie is stored on your computer or mobile device to collect pseudonymized data about your interests and thus customize advertising based on the stored information. These cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device. You will then be shown advertisements that are highly likely to match your product and information interests.

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the end device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Without this consent, retargeting technology will not be used during your visit to the site.

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, please deactivate this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

10.5 Google Ads Conversion Tracking

This website uses the online advertising program "Google Ads" and, as part of Google Ads, the conversion tracking of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").

We use the Google Ads offering to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites using advertising materials (so-called Google Adwords). We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the data of the advertising campaigns. Our aim is to show you advertising that is of interest to you, to make our website more interesting for you, and to achieve a fair calculation of the advertising costs incurred.

The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an Ads ad placed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your end device. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across the websites of Google Ads customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that personally identifies users.

In the context of using Google Ads, personal data may also be transferred to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

Details on the processing initiated by Google Ads Conversion Tracking and on how Google handles data from websites can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the end device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the "Cookie Consent Tool" provided on the website.

You can also permanently object to the setting of cookies by Google Ads Conversion Tracking by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link:
https://support.google.com/My-Ad-Center-Help/answer/12155656?hl=de

To address users whose data we have received in the context of business or business-like relationships with advertising that is even more relevant to their interests, we use a customer match function within Google Ads. For this purpose, we transmit one or more files with aggregated customer data (primarily email addresses and phone numbers) electronically to Google. Google does not receive access to clear data in this process, but automatically encrypts the information in the customer files during the transmission process using a special algorithm. The encrypted information can then only be used by Google to assign it to existing Google accounts that the data subjects have set up. This enables personalized advertising to be displayed across all Google services linked to the respective Google account.

The transmission of customer data to Google only takes place if you have given us explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke this consent to us at any time with effect for the future. Further information on Google's data protection measures regarding the customer match function can be found here: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6334160?hl=de&ref_topic=10550182

10.6 Google Ads Conversion Tracking without cookies

This website uses Google Ads conversion tracking exclusively without the use of cookies, which means that the service never sets cookies on your end device.

Instead, your browser's local storage is used to store an individual ID assigned by Google, which enables an analysis of your use of the website. For this purpose, certain user information is processed via the ID.

The ID is set when a user clicks on an Ads ad placed by Google. If the user visits certain pages of this website, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across the websites of Google Ads customers. The information thus obtained is used to create conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag.

However, you do not receive any information that allows users to be personally identified. In the context of using Google Ads, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA. Details on the processing initiated by Google Ads Conversion Tracking and on how Google handles data from websites can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

If the information collected relates to a person, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical evaluation of the success of our advertising campaigns.
Google's privacy policy can be viewed here: https://business.safety.google/intl/de/privacy/ and https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. In the context of using Google Ads, personal data may also be transmitted to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

Details on the processing initiated by Google Ads Conversion Tracking and on how Google handles data from websites can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

10.8 Google Marketing Platform

This website uses the online marketing tool Google Marketing Platform of the operator Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("GMP").

GMP uses cookies to deliver relevant ads to users, to improve reports on campaign performance, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Google uses a cookie ID to record which ads are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed multiple times. In addition, GMP can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions that relate to ad requests. This is the case, for example, if a user sees a GMP ad and later accesses the advertiser's website using the same browser and makes a purchase via this website. According to Google, GMP cookies do not contain any personal information.
Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with Google's server.

We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you to the best of our knowledge as follows: By integrating GMP, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or are not logged in, it is possible that the provider will find out and store your IP address. In the context of using GMP, personal data may also be transferred to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has joined the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European data protection level based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission.

This website uses the conversion tracking technology of the following provider: TikTok Technology Limited, 10 Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin, D02 T380, Ireland

All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the end device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
